Unveiling of the monument and awarding of the “Flame of Peace” to the team and children of the DaVinci International School

Report of the DaVinci International School, Bad Fische-Brunn:
Herta and Sandor Habsburg-Lorrain unveiled a peace memorial for the team of the DaVinci International School in Bad Fischau-Brunn – a wooden flame mounted on natural stone.
This sculpture goes to states, personalities and initiatives worldwide that have made a special contribution to peace. In the case of the Fischau private school, these are ongoing activities for international understanding and tolerance as well as very individually conceived projects, such as the “Message in a Bottle Project” for the “Young Flame of Peace” movement. The children pack peace messages in bottles that are dropped off in the sea when they travel abroad – with success: two bottles have already been found after a long sea voyage!
