President George Vella received the “FoP Award”

President George Vella received the ‘Flame of Peace Award’ in recognition of his commitment to the promotion of a culture of respect and peace in Malta, Europe and beyond.

➡️Princess Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen, Founder and President of the Association for the Promotion of Peace, presented the award to the President of Malta during a ceremony held at San Anton Palace.

President Vella thanked the non-profit organisation for this award and for recognising his humble contribution in the name of the people of Malta. President Vella said that this is a most opportune moment to discuss peace, and the award is a reflection on how we can all be promoters of just peace.
