Event at the Athens Professors Club

The Delegation of Greece of Flame of Peace recently held an event at the Professors Club of the National University of Athens in honor of its eminent member, composer Evangelos Pitsiladis. Distinguished speakers included H.E. Professor and Academician The Baron Dr. Tonis Breidel Hadjidemetriou, Prof. Dr. Vassilios Gaitanis, The Hon. Mayor of the Municipality of Rafina Mr. Evangelos Bournous and author Mrs. Dora Chatziyianni.

The Baron Breidel decorated Maestro Evangelos Pitsiladis with the “Cultural Cross” bearing the predicate of “Cultural Counselor”, which the Stadtverband of the city of Hollabrunn has awarded him at the recommendation of Their Imperial Highnesses’ Herta Margarete and Sandor von Habsburg.
Prior to the decoration, the Ecclesiastical Superior of the Greek Delegation of Flame of Peace, Abbot Archimandrite Chrysostomos blessed the insignia.
